Volunteers

Giving of your time to help others can be a very rewarding experience. The volunteers at River Parishes Hospital say that they get such a gratifying feeling from helping those in need that they often feel like they benefit from volunteering just as much as the people they serve.

We always welcome caring and compassionate people who are willing to help their friends and family at River Parishes Hospital. Our volunteers have the opportunity to choose the area in which
they would like to donate their time. They are also able to set their own hours. More importantly, they are welcomed as part of the RPH family and have the opportunity to meet new friends on our volunteer team.

The only thing we ask of our volunteers is to have a warm and caring attitude and a willingness to contribute at least four hours a week to help our patients, staff and visitors. Whether you've had a career as a homemaker or spent many years in an office, we have a position for you. And, as our way of saying "Thank You" for giving us your time, we offer a complimentary meal each half day you volunteer with us.
