Pre-Admission

Our Pre-Admission specialists assist patients in planning and preparing for their surgical experience. Patients and their family members are provided education and instructions to ensure the best patient care experience. Necessary patient assessments are performed by both, Registered Nurses and Anesthesia providers, prior to surgery.

Outpatient Surgery Unit

The Outpatient Surgery Unit is a 19-bed unit that provides care to “same day” surgery patients, endoscopy patients and outpatient procedure patients. The unit is staffed with highly qualified Registered Nurses and Technicians supported by the latest technology available.

Convenient parking is available in both the front and back entrances near the Outpatient Services entrances. After checking in at the nurses’ station, patients are escorted to their rooms. Family members are welcome to accompany our patients for their procedures. Family members are then asked to remain in the Surgery Waiting Room during the patient’s surgery to ensure they are available to speak with the physician upon completion of the procedure.

Surgical Services

The Surgery Department provides peri-operative nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Registered Nurses, Surgical Scrub Technicians and Central Sterile Technicians work together to serve both inpatients and outpatients in a family-centered atmosphere that only a smaller hospital can provide.

The Surgical Services area consists of five operating rooms, one Cysto room and one C-section room.

Post Anesthesia Care Unit

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a 6-bed unit providing post-operative care to patients who have received anesthesia during their surgery or procedure. Registered Nurses skilled in perioperative care work collaboratively with anesthesia providers to ensure quality care and patient comfort using the latest technology for safe monitoring of each patient throughout the recovery process.
