The expertise of the River Parishes Hospital Department of Anesthesiology is well recognized. Our physicians are either board-certified or board-eligible and have completed extensive training in their specialty and subspecialty areas. The team provides a wide range of anesthesia services from basic inpatient and outpatient services, to the subspecialties of cardiac, obstetrical, ambulatory (outpatient) and neurosurgical anesthesia, in addition to acute and chronic pain management. The Critical Care Division of the Department of Anesthesiology contributes to the overall continuity of care for patients who require the expertise of the intensivist. |
